01 CL-S Exhaust

hey I had a question about the exhaust piping. I have a stock CL-S. If I change just the pipings of the exhaust and keep the stock mufflers and resonator will I hear a change in sound and if I do will it sound nice?

It seems like he wants to change the pipes.

My question is why? What do you hope to gain from this? why not just upgrade the system if you plan on swapping pipes?

There really isn't any point in changing the pipes unless you change out the resonator and mufflers.
