**Group Buy for Carbo Lined Stainless Steel Brake Lines**

Okay guys I still have these brake lines. There has been a change in branding though. The branding is Goodridge USA, they make a great proportion of the aftermarket brake line kits. These lines are carbo lined, not just the plain stainless steeled. The lines come with a lifetime transferable warranty. The price has been reduced to $100.00 shipped. If you have previously ordered a set I will send you a $20.00 refund due to the change in pricing. The best part is there will be a 30 day price match guarantee on these lines. If you can find a better price on these lines at a legitimate verifiable vendor then the difference will be met. The lines make a very noticeable difference in brake feel. I've had mine on for about 4 months now and I love them.

If you guys are interested you can either paypal the payment to me. Or contact me via email to work out other arrangements.

I had a list of about 15 interested people when I initially posted about these lines.

BTW, these lines will fit the CL-P, CL-S, TL-P and TL-S!!

The brake feel will be much firmer and responsive, less spongy.

How difficult are these to install? I'm interested, check your email? Could there be a meet somewhere to pick them up, so that we can save on shipping? If not, no worries, they should arrive in 1-2 days.

Ya, Dustin. Your set went out on tuesday. They should have gotten there yesterday, today at the latest. Let me know if when you get them. I'm gonna paypal a refund to you on the difference. Since you bought them at $120. I'll also mail you the registration card and warranty card.

Figure it this way...they're made by Goodrich...the same people who make the SS lines for almost EVERY CAR...so, at the very least you get some SS for like $20 cheaper. The carbon lining just happens to help keep the gunk off the lines.

Anyone else have these? How hard are these to install? Would it be worth to get done when coming to the next service? If I were to get them now, I may get them installed at my 15k service.

The purpose of SS lines is to improve break feel and reduce brake fade...it prevents the brake fluid from expanding the lines when you are constantly on your brakes, building pressure in the lines, which reduces braking.

Can you detail the "exact" change from the "original" spec'd lines.

The "originals" (after some confusion) were SS brake lines with a nice cover.

So, is the only "difference" in specs the branding?

TIA

Thanks for the clear explanation. Not it furthers my desire to have 'em. I always figured that better pads and rotors would help, but I can get by with better brake lines, I'll take that too!

They are very easy to install. If you are capable of chaning out brake pads and bleeding the fluid, this should be a snap. This is for the complete set, front and rear.

These lines are the exact same lines as they were before. The only difference is that they will be keeping the goodridge moniker for warranty purposes. They are not being repackaged as IST. Other companies utilize the goodridge lines and then rebrand them. These are pure goodridge with the authentic "G-Stop forever Guarantee", which is a transferable warranty.

So if you guys ever find yourself going 80 without brakes...they may replace the lines for free if they find out that that was the problem

Serious though...I hear these are great because they improve your brake feel by a lot, but please install them correctly...make sure you follow the directions closely because they are dealing with your brakes and without those..well...

Hehe...I trust your testimony; I was hoping for more details than "I've had mine on for about 4 months now and I love them." I am interested to know how the feel was improved and if the pedal travels down as far? Is this a do-it-yourself upgrade, or does it require a trip to the shop?

Thx.

Once the lines are installed you will notice the brake pedal become more firm and responsive. Less pedal effort is required to stop the car. There is a noticeable improvement in brake feel. As far as installation goes, the lines are very easy to install, you must feel confident in bleeding brakes though. If you've previously done brake jobs before it should be easy for you. If you don't feel comfortable doing an install it would be fairly cheap to have them done.
