$13,800 w/ 68K miles:

http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=201848700

I don't know why people say that 6spds are so hard to find

If I can find one for about that price with navigation, I'll definitely pick it up.

So sad... Similar mileage, same year BASE RSX... asking $3,000 more in the same zipcode search area.

Get out of my zipcode steve

It is funny that some rsx's are more expensive then the CL's out there... Now that the RSX has been discontinued, the prices on those should be coming down too...

There are also a NBP and SSM forsale with 25 miles of me but those have asking prices in the 17's... (with lower mileage)...

I just really could use the utility of a 4 door wagon now. It would make it easier carrying things for work and would make it easier to travel and take the dog places. My girlfriend has a Mazda3 wagon and I love it. It's so convenient, easy on gas, and really a blast to drive.

I'm looking at getting a WRX or Legacy GT wagon myself.

Although what I REALLY would like is a '00-'02 BMW M Coupe but I don't think I could swing the cost for one without outrageous mileage.

I'd suspect that the one I listed doesn't have a clean carfax... Gotta be something wrong with it, if the retail price is lower than suggested trade in value...

"You pays you money, and you takes you chances"

It's probably another case of "you get what you pay for"...

Are they going to crush it? If not, tell them to gift it to me. If they gift it, they'll be able to use it as a tax write-off.

I've said that before too, but I've started to look at new ones again...

After 4 years with the 6spd, I'm getting itchy for something else... Maybe I'll keep the CLS and buy a cheap project car to keep the edge off...

Bought my last car (94 Ford Tbird) with 14K miles on it.... it was nice to let someone else take the depreciation hit on it. I bought my CLS new, and it was the only car I had ever bought new. Gotta go back to my old way of thinking...

If acura ever comes out with another coupe, it might not be untill 2009, and then if I want to buy one used, it'll be 2011,2012... I don't know if I can wait that long...

On some cars, it sometimes just makes more sense to buy new... With the prices of used S197's it almost makes sense to spend the extra few grand to buy new with the car spec'd just the way I'd want (3.55 rear, spoiler delete, etc etc).

Hey I aint hate'n but did you see the front fender well it looks to high and I bet its gots some front end work done on it. also I did the free carfax thingie on it it it says there is 12 records that could be bad or could be good. if someone has car fax run the report and see whats up and that way we can tell if it is a clean or jacked car!!

Thats what I did with mine...got it for 27,700 out the door. I also put in a lot of $ but the stock car is still fun and cheap.

The ins co is now definetly totaling my 03 cl-s...im going to get 20,800 for mine Thats the value from when the wreck happened...june 05. If you look today at that same site the value is 17,300. Wow what a drop 3,500 in 16 months...im almost glad that stupid kid hit me.

By the time I go to sell mine, it'll be worth about $3000. But that's ok sine it'll have 150+K miles. I buy about 2-3 years old with under 40K miles, then drive it 4-5 years until it gets 150K or so miles.

Also, about CarFax, don't trust what you see on CarFax. If it's clean, it might not really be clean. My wife totalled her Z3 over 4 years ago, thing was beyond totalled - they cut her out of the car and all. Police reports, hospital reports, full insurance payout, etc. For kicks, I run it through CarFax about a year ago, comes-up with a CLEAN sheet, with the buyback guarantee and all! I e-mailed CarFax pics of the car and the police report, they gave me a standard "we are only as good as our sources" reply, AKA "we really don't give a shit". Lesson: even if it has a clean CarFax, give it a very thorough look-over. I've seen about a dozen cars in the past year (between buying a new car for me and one for the wife) that had been in accidents and had clean CarFax reports.

The local dealership here in Clearwater has a silver 03 for just under $21k with 34kmiles. I went to see it looks great.

I told them I'll give'm 7k after trade in,

they ran through their little chart, and said they will only give me $8500 for my 01 CL-S with 80kmiles.
That was the end of that conversation.

If that 6spd was a TL not a CL (I know that doesn't exist, but I want 4 doors) I would have bought it, but it's getting a little old when I have passengers.
Basically, I couldn't justify spending $ on the same car I have now, except it's 6spd. If I'm gonna fork out, might as well add a little more and get a 330i. (in my opinion).

Greenmonster is absolutely right you get what you pay for, either high mileage or accidents drastically affects the price. I paid 29k canadian with 23,000 kms on my car but it's flawless inside out.

Down to $13,999 now... it's been on sale since July...

If I ever get rid of my CL, I think I might just say screw it, and take the trade in value instead of a priovate sale. Looks like to much hassle to deal with a sale.

So now there's 2 6spds on the east coast for ~ $13K.
