$901.96 Service got me this....
Hi:
During March 2005 I paid $198 for front and rear brake pads. At the time they said rotors were on the way out. Car had 135,000 miles on it.
Tuesday driving to work experienced a lot of vibration on front wheels when using brakes. Dropped off at mechanic for service with 145,000 miles.
All prices include labor:
Oil and Filter $13.96
New Front Rotors $220 (Mechanic said rotors were rusting and pretty bad)
New Rear Rotors $200
2 Serp belts, 1 for alternator, 1 for AC I think. They had to pull motor mount to put belts on. (Mechanic said belts were dry rot) $149
New Platinum plugs only after 50,000 miles where they said the plugs were black. They could of cleaned them up. They told me Premium gas will carbon up car quicker than regular. I have been running regular for 4 months due to gas prices with no problems. When I got new plugs put in at 97,000 the mechanic had told me that 3 of the plugs are very labor intensive to remove. $150
Motorvac Fuel Induction Cleaning (I had never heard of this but here in Florida they have it and swear by it) *** Any opinions on this?
From Invoice:
Motorvac will clean your cars fuel rail, throttle body, and air intake system! It will also test your cars fuel pump presuure, fuel regulator, and will preform leak down test on fuel injectors. $109
Here is explanation of Motorvac:

At 145,000 I never thought carbon build up would be an issue so I took the mechanic for their word on this one. Car does seem to be running smooth......

I forgot to add $80 for labor on rotor install to total the $901.
I'm thinking I could of saved $150 by going with current plugs where they only had 50,000 and another $109 for not getting carbon cleaned out job for $259 savings. So now I'm down to $663 for rotors including $80 for labor, and 2 belts, and oil.
Mechanic did say rotors were expensive for this type of car.
Considering I did not have to put brake pads into car until 135,000 and rotors until 145,000 I'm happy.

you could buy all the parts and do it all yourself...
buy performance Rotora's for the front and rear. around $400
Buy NGK Iridium plugs $36
New belts are under $30
Sea Foam is only $4 a can to clean out the carbon
Total $470
if you wanted to change the pads to i would an extra $100

unless your car has a supercharger on it then the plugs can be changed in under 20 minutes... you got lied to.
