Check the reviews of the X-type (aka Ford Mondeo). Tons of reliability issues and a truly crappy transmission. Motor Trend had an article on this car.

I test drove this car with the 4cyl and v6. Jaguar should be ashamed of themselves. Both are way underpowered! and the V6 is way too expensive for what you get. And you truly can see the Ford in this car. They were the quickest test drives I ever did.
