Yokohama ES100 vs Avon Tech M500
#2
Better is relative depending on what you are looking for.
You will see most reviews have the Avon rated at the top of the heap. However, if you look closesly this is done by having the lowest road noise and supple ride.
The AVS es100 is rated high in things like road feel, steering response and dry grip but gives points away in ride quality and noise.
My Zris are wearing out(they have been a great tire and actually lasted significantly longer than my stock michelins) and I'm most likely going to put a set of es100s on when the car gets passed on to my girlfriend.
