Wheel well/Fender rolling

Does anyone have much experience with expanding tire/wheel clearance by rolling the rear fenders? How much extra room will be realized? Is there any real long term damage done to the fender if no paint is damaged. I have seen a tool at the Tire Rack for $269.00. I have been quoted around $100.00 to have it done by a body shop. Thanks for any advice anyone can offer.

unless your good with body work just go get it done right at a body shop. you dont wanna mess with a fender, and plus there not really cheap to replace:/

Ive done it before and its not hard..jst takes time and patience and the guts to do that to your fender.. If you are going to do it yourself make sure you get a heat gun as well..but for one time use i would just take it to the shop. No hassle way of doing it.
