Wheel and Tire Ideas

Hey guys,

New to the site and liking what i'm seeing so far. I'm going to be getting an 08 TSX after the first of the year and am working on my mod list. I need some help with wheels and tires. I've gone on a bunch of sites and seen some wheels I liked, but I'm crap when it comes to realiable brands. So any input, pics and websites are appreciated. I'm looking to get 18's, and am moving towards black or gunmetal to murder out the black TSX i'm looking to get. Thanks in advance!!

I don't think it matters as far as wheels go, but it might be better to post this in the first generation section. There's bound to be many many more pics of those cars with almost every wheel made.

luck for you at least you have heaps of options in the USA, here in australia we only have so much options :P a lot of brands we have to import n it's much more dear lol last time i emailed ronjon wheels about how i could possibly get my hands on some of their wheels, the guy just replied telling me to find my own private importer... which didn't really help give me any ideas where to start searching lol, so i gave up on ron jon wheels, i'll most likely settle with lexani wheels

As much as I like their design; their weight (26lbs each inspyres) put me off. One of the best mods (for my '05 TSX) I went with were: Centerline Storm wheels (18x7, 17lbs.) with Hankook EVO 12's summer tire. Incredible grip/handling and improved acceleration.

I second DiaBando, light wheels will make a huge difference...unless you're going for style, then never mind.
As for tires, Hankook EVO 12's are AMAZING! Especially for the price! I've been buying performance summer tires for my cars since the 80's (anyone remember the Yokohama A008's?), and the Hankook's are top dog.

Good luck.

Look into Work, Volk, Rays, WedsSports or Advan rims.
