Does anyone know if a 17X8 5-114.3 40SM size wheel with a 235/45 tire will fit a TSX?

I'm running TL wheels which are 17x8 with 235/45x17 General Exclaims. The offset on those wheels is 45 though. It fits OK and I'm lowered about 3/4". If you're at stock height, you should be able to get away with the 40 offset, but the wheels will stick out a bit (OE offset is 55) so I'd have some reservations about how it will look.

Thanks for the help. I want the wheels to come to the end of the wheel wells, but don't want them to stick out, so thanks for helping me prevent a mistake.
