You might want to browse the Modified TSX Gallery

Here is mine, approx. 3/4" drop due to the 2004 A-spec suspension:

I, too, run A-Spec on my 04 6MT (although if the instructions that came with my kit are to be believed, I have an 06 6MT suspension kit). I love it. Perfect daily driver drop, year-round, IMO.

Mine is just like rex.'s. Same coilover and height pretty much.

But, I'm going to drop this thread... into the correct place. Tires, Wheels, & Suspension here we come.

Do you have any intention of dropping it more in the future? If you don't, i'd suggest getting the ASPEC suspension instead; you'd save more money that way.

Your ride looks AWESOME. Couple questions; 1. How's the ride with that suspension? It seems you're dropped pretty low. I have Tein Basics and i know the factory spec on Basics is lower than what the Comfort SPorts give you. 2. With the CS Dampers, will the longevity of the coilovers diminish if you go lower than factory specs? 3. How much were the wheels?

I have the 06 aspec kit on my 5AT which is about 1"-1.2" all the way around. Due to the tires it doesn't as low as it really is.....

Rex - Had i known you had the CS dampers at the Ron Jon meet, i would have asked you for a ride man! How is that compared to Tein Basics or the Aspec if you have ever been in on of them? I was thinking up changing out to the CS eventually!

I'm dropped about 2"F/1.6"R on my 06, and I have to deal with speed bumps every day (live in a townhouse complex). Just hit them at an angle and you'll be fine .

Jordan, did you see gvtsx's partout thread in BM? He has his CS for sale. Too pricey for me but, if you have the means....

Thanks Jan! I just checked but i think he is selling Tein SS and then the EDFC module for the FLEX or the CS. I didn't see the CS on there unless SS was a typo.....

Couple questions;

1. How's the ride with that suspension?
Perfect! (for my tastes.) It feels as if this setup should have been stock, for a luxury sports sedan.

2. With the CS Dampers, will the longevity of the coilovers diminish if you go lower than factory specs?
In theory yes, but it depends on how one drives the car at what ever height they set. These can also be revalved by TEIN if they ever decide to die.

3. How much were the wheels?
I got them for a beautiful price of $500 brand new. Reused my 235/40 Avon M550s.

lol, you probably would have bought the one on sale in the BM if you took a ride.
IMO, Basic is fine for track, but not for daily driver. The ride quality is lacking and it is a little noisy. A-Spec rides very good, but the ride height doesn't cut it for me - CS can ride softer or harder than this, plus the height adjustability

How much would the Aspecs cost? and wouldn't the tein coilovers be better? i don't think i should drop it too much since i live in nyc... just yesterday i hit a shitty ass pothole at 3 am... no harm.. thankfully.. but A-spec over Tein-basics/SS?

I think coilover owners should not chime in on this thread. They can go up and down as much as they want. It'd be more useful if it was only a strut/spring thread.

Or if you want to keep coilovers in this thread, I'll take pictures of my car at various heights and then make a guestimate as to how much the drop is ;-P

Here are some pictures of my ride lowered...

https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...light=veronica

It's on Tein Basics with a 2.1front drop and a 1.9-2.0rear drop...not sure these are just estimations. Ride is good and i stress just "good" I'm currently looking for a new suspension i'll probably be selling my coilovers sooon...

That's too low to be an A-Spec suspension , or you got a good angle to take the picture

you only void the warranty for the suspension not the whole car. If you have a problem with the suspension they won't fix it because it's not the factory suspension. You will be fine go ahead put the coilovers on.
