What tires do you have?

I checked all three pages of the forum and it's been a while since anyone discussed about tires. As winter approaches some of all seasons and summer tires are on sell and I'm looking to pick up a set.
Just by searching I believe someone on here has Toyo T1-R's and Yoko ES100?
Any input would be nice!

I use the Avon M550s, they were reviewed to handle the best (relative to other all season tires) in the snow.

Yokohama AVID H4S...cheap, 50k treadlife, all-season, and by far out performs stock.

I have a set of Yokohama AVS ES100's and they are a great "summer" tire, but I wouldn't push them in the snow. I run Avon M550s in the winter and they are great in the snow.

I have Falken FK-451 235/35/19 on the TSX, and Toyo T1R 235/35/19 on the A4. Both are good tires. The Falkens will be replaced by the Toyo once they wear out.

I have some Nittos. These Nittos are very loud and my steering wheels shakes and rattles a lot when I drive above 60 mph.

OEMs at the moment. Looking at Dunlop Winter Sport M3 and Michelin Pilot Alpin for winter. Dumping OEMs for possibly Bridgestone Turanzas in the spring.

BF-Goodrich G-Force Sport, a little on the noisy side, but grip is excellent in dry and wet.

Bridgestone Turanza LS-V 215/50/R-17 All-Season Performance

I absolutely love them. They completelty change the driving dynamics of the car. Quiet, excellent treadware (my sister has 40K on hers and they still look new) and they handle wonderful. Only problem is they are hard to find and somewhat expensive but I highly recommend them.

Kuhmo ASX 235/40/wr18 All season

I love these tires, they're about 1000 times better than the shitty OEM Michelins. They change the dynamics of the car like night and day. I've always been a kuhmo fan when i had ecsta 712's on my civic. I couldn't be happier with the ASX's

The Yokohoma Avid and the Avon M550, both mentioned above. A little more than $100/tire as compared to roughly $200/tire for the OEM.

Wet? I have the G-Force and they suck in the wet.

I've pushed the car pretty hard in a couple of torrential downpours here in the DC area and I have no complaints about how the tire handles. Sure they're not quite as sticky as they are in the dry, but the break away characteristic remains the same and is progressive, relatively linear, and predictable, same as when dry. Plus, I don't feel like the car looses any straightline stability in the wet either.

What characteristics are you looking for in a tire when it comes to wet weather traction?

Currently have OEMs, gonna keep them through what little winter we get in NC.

Hopefully going to be able to get new wheels next spring, will put Avon M550s or Yoko Avids on them.

Just stuck a rear set of boots on - T1-Rs. Back end now feels more solid and connected to the rest of the car. Mind you though, the Michelins were probably just about still road legal - so hardly a fair comparison.
I'm hoping to be able to get hold of a few tyres - F1 GSD3s, Yoko's Paradas or AVS Sports, and Avon's ZZ3 (Mastercraft Avenger ZHP) for a bit of a shoot-out for another Honda forum I'm a member of.
If it all works out, I'll report my findings and hope it helps some of you guys with your decisions.
