What do you think of the Enkei RS+M

Noobie checking in...

What do you guys think of the Enkei RS+M if placed on a nighthawk black TSX with a-spec suspension? Pros: Lightweight. Reputable company. And I prefer more understated wheels than the "bling-bling" many like. Price is not a huge consideration for me.

Would you get 18x7.5 +48 or 17x7 +45? Would the 17x7 fit okay with that offset?

Thanks!

Nice rims. Go for the 18s.

The spice must flow...

I've had my eye on those too. Definitely go for the 18's. Cheapest place I've found them - www.wheelsboutique.com.

I really like these rims! I'm the same way you are Muaddib, I'm not into the bling bling type rims and have been searching like mad for a nice extremely light weight understated rim, and I think these are the one's I'll go with. My 06 will have the A-Spec suspension also but it's CGP. I think these rims will go well with that color. I'm going with 17's though. I don't understand the obsession so many of the members here on this forum have with 18" plus sized wheels...

I would think 17x7 would be ok with the offset of 45. That's what I'm planning on doing.

I like em....thinking about those. Decent looks (not blingy), lightweight, good manufacturer.

Off the Enkei website:
17 x 7 15.7 lbs
18 x 7.5 17.8 lbs

Aesthetically speaking, I agree with you... but with the Enkei's, you're really paying for the lighter weight. The A-Specs and Ronjons tip the scale at 22-24 lbs while the Enkeis are a smidgeon over 15 lbs. I forgot what the weight savings equivalent to that is in chassis weight ---- anyone want to chime in? I remember it being something along the lines of 10 lbs. of chassis weight for every 1 lbs. of wheel/tire weight?

Has anyone seen 17x7 +45 wheels on a TSX? I am worried that the extra centimeter in offset is going to make the wheels stick out too close to the fenders. I don't want to spend $$$ and have an aesthetic issue and buyers remorse.

shouldn't have any problem running a 7 or 7.5 with a +45 offset.

If you like understated styling and light weight, how about the forged Centerline Storms?

17x7s are 14 lbs and are on clearance for only $159 apiece shipped.

The only sizes I have found are 15x6.5 and 17x7.5. Offset of 48.

Had to do some searching to find this out. Enkei's own page doesnt even have any sizes listed for them. Since there doesn't seem to be much info out on them, I'm hoping that availability won't be a problem. I guess cuz theyre so new? Oh and also theyre not quite a pound lighter, theyre about .3 pounds lighter.

Compared to other cast wheels, these Enkei's are freakin light.

I like these a lot. If they're as light as amadeus says, they sound great. 15lbs a wheel is substantially lighter than stock. What's that, 8-9lbs per wheel?

What was the price on these?

I bought them from www.wheelsboutique.com for $224.00 each. Size was 17x7. They also come in 18's as well.
