Volk racing re30 on a TSX

hello guys,

i am searching for a defined answer but it seems like i cant get any....

anyway, i would like to seek the advise from the TSX guru here...

i am driving a TSX or some would call it the JDM CL7 Euro R spec. i have a set of volk racing RE30.

i am wondering if it could fit my ride if they are 18" 9jjj offset 50mm.. i am using a 18/225/40 by the way.

this set of rims are formely from my FD2R or the JDM civic type R..

can some guru enlightend me if it fit and what height should i drop and possible will it rubs the fender? And, wat should be a good camber angle so it will not "eat" too much of my tires?

look forward to the reply from the guru here....thks..

I'm wondering if that width of 9" and +50 offset would hit your suspension hmm.

I've seen 8.5" width with a bit of negative camber fit. Unsure about 9", even with a +50 offset. You plan to drop it?

Not exactly your wheel size, but this other thread is worth taking a look if you haven't already. https://acurazine.com/forums/1g-tsx-tires-wheels-suspension-130/18x9-5-et30-w-235-40-18-will-they-fit-858119/ He's running 18 x 9.5 on a +30 offset, but I suspect he rolled his fenders. What kind of look are you going for?

sorry PACman, i dont get you.. i am from singapore by the way..so the car culture might be different from you..if u r talking abt the look, for sure it will not be the slammed down type in the states..i am going formore conservative type, perhaps a track car? i am not sure abt the measurement, but a 2 fingers gap will be great!! not sure if it works...any opinons? Cheers bro!

i have 18x9 +35 RE30 on my tsx. However, back in 2009, i ran a 18x9+50, no finger gap drop (TEIN Basic), 245/40, and stock camber settings and it rubbed on my coilovers. I had to run a 5mm spacer for it to clear.

I'm running 18x9.5 +22 RE30. I honestly didn't roll my fenders the right way, the tires naturally rolled it for me"horrible I know". But I would recommend you rolling. With a +50 offset your going to have issues with the wheels hitting your coilovers. Like emseecoy said get spacers to lower your offset down. And im running -2.5 in the front and -4 in the rear.
