okay so not sure and have no idea whats making this sound but it occurred when i got the used rims mounted. cant really explain the sound, but you notice it when your above 20mph. its constant but does not sound obtrusive. it think it may be coming from the front wheels cause i feel a little vibration when braking and the front is vibrating subtly.

i bought the rims and tires used, the previous owner was dropped and i dont think had stock alignment. i got the wheels checked out at discount tires and they said the tires had uneven tread wear. the rears being close to being needed to be replaced the fronts he said i can run a little longer. and there is a noticeable difference between inner and outer tread.

also while i was at discount tires i had them chacke the balance and everything was fine with the balancing

so these wheels and tires came of a irregular alignment to oem alignment.

in dont think anything is wrong with the rims, so im thinking the uneven tread is making this sound or causing it in some way.

so my question is should uneven tread make noise if your going from irregular alingment to oem. and would replacing the tires most likely abolish this sound

the tires currently mounted on the wheels are Falkens

new tires should do the trick, but before you spring for those:

- double check you don't have bent wheels
- ensure proper balancing and tire pressure
