Upgrading Rear Sway Bar might snap endlinks?!??!

I am now ready to buy a Comptech RSB (and plz don't tell me to get Progress), I know they are "adjustable" and clears exhausts..but anyways

i was reading other threads and it seems like TSX's have some endlink problem. I also read that somebody or a few or two snap their endlinks. Also, Honda as a TSB out for Accords (and TSX's since they used the same endlinks) that these parts are actually defective?

Thanks a lot guys.

I'm just afraid that the shear added stress of the Comptech bar may snap them.

Which is why I keep reading why so many ppl encounter loose endlinks. Do ppl forget to tighten them or does the force of the upgraded RSB begin to loosen these endlinks??

I've had mine on for a few years now and no problems.

Its funny that you've been reading about endlinks, but didnt you see the threads regarding the CT bushings? And how almost everyone has bought urethane bushings to replace them? The Progress comes with them and no one has ever complained about the Progress making any noise.

buying the comptech one is almost stupid cause you get rubber bushings and by the time you buy urethane to replace them its cheaper to buy progress right away.

I had the Comptech RSB installed and a couple months later one of my endlinks snapped and I had to replace both of them with the upgraded ones at Acura. I'm praying that the upgrades do not snap as well.

I've been running the Progress bar on my 2006 for around a year now, on its tight setting, and have not popped an end link or had any noises from it yet.

I asked if there was a TSB for the endlinks and the dealership denied there was. Besides, even if there was a TSB, I doubt they would have granted it because of my coilover and RSB so I didn't even bother to fight it. I had to fork up $100 for the upgraded endlinks, they BETTER hold up.

If I recall correctly, the TSB was for the Accord only. There were never any endlink TSBs for the TSX.

I've had my Comptech on for about 2 years and with grease fitting (tough install) urethane bushings. Love it and not a single issue with endlinks.
