Upgraded OEM Chrome Center Caps

Hey guys I have 2006 TSX with the standard OEM rims. I see Acura has the Chrome Center caps on some of their models (like the RL and some others). I want to replace my center caps with those. Does anybody know if they will fit? I tried calling a few dealers and no one can tell me. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

99% chance the RL's will fit, the RSX/TSX/TL are all interchangable

I called Honda directly and they said it wont fit. I'm stuck with the boring OEM center caps. The ones from Silver-star rims is what I was talking about or even the RL OEM rims. Oh well, no aftermarket that I can see either. Hopefully Acura will make them eventually.

The Silverstar caps won't match the color of the OEMs either, sorry.

Actually You can get REPLACE the OEM center caps.

If you want the chrome or Gold Acura wheel emblem, then you first have to buy the Wheel emblem kit for 50 dollars.

But in order to attach that, you have to buy a Center cap from Acura that is specifically for Wheel emblem attachment. You know its for the emblem because it has 2 holes on the wheel cap so the emblem can attach to it.

Here is the part number, they are about 17 bucks each so, 17x4 = near 80 dollars with shipping etc.

08W17-SDB-1A0R1 CAP ASSY., CENTER (17")

and yes they fit the OEM 04-06 TSX wheels

haha, I already fit them on! I have a 05 TSX with 06 OEM wheels. Yes they fit. Center cap size is same for 04-06 OEM wheels. And these center caps fit.

I got them from Del Ray Acura online. I fit them on my 06 wheels. You want pics? PM Me.

I've got my on an 04 TSX. They fit perfectly. Your picture is the same center caps that I have. They are a little shinny. I've seen in pictures other center caps that have a silver matted finish. If you can get your hands on these, they would be perfect.

Do not use tuner lugs on an OEM wheel.

I actually called Del Ray Acura, and they told me it is impossible. He said those emblams are only for the upgraded rims not the OEM ones.

They don't know. When I got the center caps, none of the dealers knew. I had them measure the diameter of the center caps. They fit perfectly.

Ray's are tuner lugs. IMO buy McGard splinedrive lugs, best lugs on the market. None of the JDM ones are worth crap, even the Ray's ones

If the diameter size is indicative of the fitment of the center caps, then if your stock 2006 center caps are 2-11/16", it should fit.

I picked up a set today from:

eBay seller

They were in great condition:

It snaps into my wheels perfectly (not stock tsx wheels, but should be the same), but I am still able to rotate the caps. I do not know whether I should add some adhesive or leave it as is.

Hope that helps!

Lugs are one thing you want to make sure you do right. A lot of the tuner ones that come in colors are prone to stripping.

RJs are different. They are custom manufactured specifically for Hondas and Acuras. The typcial aftermarket wheels probably will not allow the factory center caps to snap in.

Probably not. I took off the wheel, because I didn't want to scratch the oem caps or the rim.
