I'm running Blues and H.Techs, the drop isn't as aggressive as the S.Techs. Blues are good for the money, but, kinda bouncey at times. If you can pay for it, get the Konis.

There are threads about this already. If you're not interested in searching, here's the short version:
The Blues are probably the worst designed product for the TSX that has actually made it to market.
They are sold as OE replacements or for use with lowering springs. They are completely wrong for pairing with OE. With mild lowering, they are still bad. S-tech's, or other sport springs have an almost appropriate spring rate to be paired with these, but they lower the car beyond the range they were designed to operate at.
They are literally good for nothing! It's really time to stop recommending them and stop selling them.

That is a pretty bold statement, I have researched other reviews and threads on these, it seems like everyone either loves or hates them...

I agree that the Tokico blues does not go with stock shocks, they are firmer than stocks. So I think they should be mated with good lowering springs, but how low is to be determined. Imo, the H-tech is a moderate drop and is close to stock height so the S-tech should be good for the tokico's. I'm also thinking about tokico's and the s-tech's, but I live in L.A so comfort is a major concern for me which made me think about getting some Kyb's with the H-techs.

i had the blues mated with s-techs for about 6 months or so and then sold that setup for another set of coils cuz i wanted to go lower. it was a decent setup, definitely firmer than stock but not by much. i wouldn't recommend more than a 2" drop on them or the ride will be compromised as well as the longevity of the shocks. it's a decent value for the price, but for a couple hundred more bucks you may be able to find a deal on a set of tein basics or tanabe coils. best of luck

I usually see people let their springs settle for a week before an alignment, but at least you align your ride after lowering. I think you should invest in a kit anyways just to prevent any premature wear anywhere on your tires.

Im kind of wondering since koni's so much more expensive than tokico
and i know koni have 3 adjustable options but is this really cause a nearly 300 variation of a set??
and one of my question is will tokico struts blow out or anything like that??
