You can get a set of Fusions for $120-ish each, but spend the extra $20 each and get the ES100

get fuzion.... one of the head instructors from redline racing told me my tires were very good during the track event. And he knows his stuff, he races semi-pro in events like the honda challenge. I got 235/45/17 to try to stay close within stock range for all wheels so not much changes in odo reading... I also highly recommend kosei wheels as they are made by toyota and used in many professional toyota racing cars.

I tried getting the Pirelli P Zero Nero (non M+S) in 215/50/17 but all the places I call either say that tire doesn't exist or that the size doesn't exist in that tire.

So, I emailed Pirelli and told them my dilemma. I also told them that the size was listed on their website.

Here's the email:
Message: I have been searching for your Pirelli P Zero Nero in the size
P215/50 R17 with no luck. They are listed on the USA Pirelli website,
but when I call an authorized Pirelli retailer, they either say it is
not available or it is not made in that size. I really want to try this
tire out and would greatly appreciate it if you could steer me in the
right direction? Thank You

Response:
The requested tire is no longer available. We apologize for the
inconvenience. Thanks

Sadly, I don't believe that size was ever available in the M&S. You can sub to the following for the PZero-Nero M&S Size: 225/45WR17, this size is listed as OK to use on tire-rack... The only drawback is that this tire is about 1.9% smaller diameter from stock, and about .5 inches shorter in over-all height. That will mean that when the car is travelling at 60mph, your speedo will read 61mph. Not a huge deal. My conti-extreme's are starting to get a bit noisy, so I'm seriously looking at replacing them with the M&S 225/45-17's this summer.

I was looking at the Kumhos', they came out second best against the Pirelli's by only a small amount.... but like you, I came across some complaints that they were wearing faster than normal. What was interesting was the Pirelli Nero M&S's were wearing much better than expected, so.....

??Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 or Kumho ECSTA ASX??, they both had mostly good reviews, however there were a few bad ones about tread wear and them not lasting long.....what do you guys think would be the best choice for me if i drive up to about 15 miles a day max?

Can anyone point me to where I can get a set of Pirelli P Zero Nero's?
It seems that you guys are able to get yourselves a set, whereas in my area they are saying they are discontinued or are not available in the stock size

Thanks in advance for any advice

Tirerack. If you find other sites that are cheaper - let Tirerack know and they will match or beat the price. They have 4 warehouse locations in the US.

You can buy the P-Zero's from Tirerack at a about $135 per tire. If you call you could get a discount. All sales are not final. Call them up to see what they can do.

Get the ASX. Got one on my TL-S. No hydroplaning. Get the price off Tirerack and local discount tire will match it +$16/wheel for mounting.

went to discount tire today..... the price match from tirerack didnt go so well. it would have ended up costing me more than what it would have cost me if i just purchased it at the discount tire price which inluced installation and everything. disocunt tire charged be about $640 for 4 Kuhmo ASX 235/40/18 tires. good deal? or you think i got ripped off?
