Tire and Wheel Combinations

Hello All,
I am new the TSX community, I've had an '06 6spd (no nav.) Carbon Gray/Parchment for a little over a month now. I love the car, but was kind of dissapointed in the stock wheel styling. I almost purchased the Silver Star wheels when I bought the car, but decided to wait.

What aftermarket wheels have you seen that you'd recommend taking a look at? I like the Mugen wheels I've seen on kingmotorsports.com but they are a little expensive for my taste.

I think I'd like to stick with a 17" size on this car but would like to upgrade the tire to a 225-45 17 High Performance All-Season. Any tire recommendations?

Thanks

Looking and looking, too many people putting 18s and 19s on the car. (But will keep looking)

Does anyone on the forum have the Silver Star wheels on their TSX? If so, please post a pic.

Thanks for the quick replies and pics.
I still like the way those wheels look and I think they'd look pretty damn sweet with the carbon gray.

To add to that, do you think that they would work with 225/45-17 tires? Or should I stick with the stock 215/50-17?

Recommend any place to get the Silver Star wheels at a decent price? (Gonna check eBay)

Honestly, I wouldn't go with a 225/45 - it'll be 0.5" shorter in diameter than the stock tire. A 235/45 is still a bit smaller than stock, but is much closer. In a 17 I'd probably go with that or even a 245/45. Good luck!

Would a 235 series tire fit on a 7 inch wide rim?
How well would that fit under the wheel well?

Yes it will fit but it's not recommended.
