Tire size question...

Heya guys,

I just purchased 18x7.5 rims and I was wondering what tire size I should be putting on them. I know that 225/40/18 is recommended and I was wondering if there would be any benefit for going to 235/40/18 instead in terms of traction or ride quality. Also, in the particular tire I am looking at, the load rating goes from 91 for the 225s to 93 for the 235s. Or should I consider something else all together?

Thanks much!

i've had 235 and 225's of various brands, I didn't think the 235's were that much better, but I do like how the wider tires looks. IMO if you don't mind paying more the 235's are a good choice

I'm running 225 and it looks and ride good. It all depends on what kind of tires you want.
