Will the 17x8 TL wheels fit a TSX without poking out, needing to roll the fenders, or scrubbing?
A 1.5-1.8 drop is in the future so I need to take that into consideration.

You'll have no problems at stock height, but once you go lower, I guess it depends on who you talk to. I had a set of OE TL wheels (I'll assume you're refering to the 04-08 OE wheels, which are 17x8 ET45) with the OE TL size tires (235/45x17) on my 05. These tires are the same diameter as the OE TSX tires by the way. Anyway, I was lowered about an inch, and I used to rub occasionally. In front when I went over a bump while turning (not all the time), in back if I went over a decent bump at speed (again, not all the time). Others here claim no problems with the same or even a lower setup, so you'd have decide what advice to pay attention to.

Really? I thought I read somewhere that the stock TSX wheels are 17x7... Just got the car and still learning about it after 8+years with Preludes.

I'm not going to slam it or anything but just wanna lower the center gravity some and stiffen the suspension up while maintaining a clean, almost-stock look. I would probably keep the tires at stock height for a TSX since they are both 17" wheels. I can deal with an occasional scrub on a odd bump. I just don't want scrubbing EVERY time I make a sharp turn or every day normal driving.

Thanks!
