Tire mounting options? Walmart?

Tire mounting options? Walmart?
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with Walmart's tire service?
Specifically, I'm thinking about ordering tires online (tirerack or discounttire)and then having Walmart mount and balance. It looks like it might be cheaper to have it done there.
Also why is there such a huge price discrepancy on same tires between discounttire and discounttiredirect? Are the tires on direct older or something?
Thanks for any info.

It might be cheaper there if you M&B your stockers but if you have aftermarket wheels I highly recommend you to go to a shop that has the right equipment to do aftermarket wheels that is touchless tire mounting and such they use high end equipment such as Hunters, you may pay a little bit more but you will be satisfied at the end.

Wal Mart is fine, i used to work in the auto shop there back in the day. Just be sure you get an experienced person to do it and that you go over scratches on the wheels before and after the install so they are accountable. They also provided a lifetime balance, rotation and road hazard pretty cheap for the lifetime of the tires
