thoughts on axis wheels?

anyone here have them on their TSX?

a friend of mine suggested them to me as an option. i know there are a few threads mentioning how some of their rims look a lot like the g-games, and someone had mentioned that they've had a lot of rims on their cars and only axis ones cracked.

also, if anyone can provide some info about the merits or drawbacks of staggered wheels, since that seems to be a big thing with them.

the few i was taking a look at were these:

axis gravity, gunmetal, 18"s

axis hiro, probably the antracite color which is kinda gunmetalish, 18"s (pic shows hypersilver)

axis halo, black with a silver pinstripe, 18"s

If you're looking for overall performance gains, don't go with a staggered setup on a FWD car. You increase understeer and hurt acceleration by adding unnecessary grip on the rear, non-driven wheels if you go that route .

hmm... that's good to know. interesting since my buddy who recommended these used to own a g35, and says a lot of g owners around here ride on axis wheels.

thanks for the all the feedback.

i'm just shopping around right now. i think my defaults are ronjon legends in liquid graphite. for some reason, i just really like the look of those. but these axis are pretty nice too.

yeah, the gravity's are nice too. but they're also heavier at 21.5lbs.

here's a pic of them in hyper silver. i have a NHBP. i'm not sure if i'd like this silver on it.
