stock oem wheel question on lowered tsx
i want to put some nice tires on the the factory stocks...will the 225/45/17 be perfect for a after market tire on the factory rims. the car is also lowered. thx guys for the help.

That's the tire size i've been running for a while. I've had Ecsta SPT and now the Sumi HTRZIII's. It's a good tire size, but the speedometer will be a little off.
Nice ride, though. And a bit more high performance than the stock aspect ratio of 50.

The aspect ratio of the wheel has nothing to do with performance. The physical height of the sidewall matters. If you're using stock wheels and get tires that are less than 2% off, there won't be a significant difference between a 40 spect ratio and a 60. Besides, large wheels with low profiles tires are low performance, not high performance. You'll do much better with a smaller wheel that's nice and light than tall wheel that looks cool.
