Steelies -- what size / offset?

Looking at getting some 16" steelies for my winter tires that I bought.

What model should I get (Canadian Tire and most stores just have generic "5x114.3 16-inch 6.5 wide" types of rims -- nothing specific about offset).

Is offset that important for steel wheels?

Thanks,
Eric.

PS: Anyone know if I was to call a local Honda dealer, if their 5x114.3 16" rims would be better than any generic ones??

i know that 16" steelies are used all the time (15" are too small to clear the calipers, but 16" are ok).

I called a local Honda dealer and they have the proper Honda brand steelies, 16", 5x114.3, for $59.25 on sale. That's $10 cheaper than the generic Canadian Tire steelies, meaning the Honda ones are cheaper AND will fit @ the hub better. Can't get a better deal than that, aside from used.

Will be bringing my winter tires there on Monday and getting them to install and balance on their steelies.
