Spring Confusion, Help ?

I recently purcahed a set of RS-R down springs for my TSX,
1.6 Front / 1.3 Back. My concern is the car is going to be to low to the ground.

A friend is selling a set of four (4) Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
Part number 4045.140
Lowers front by 1.4" and rear by 1.2"

Do you guys think its worth buying the Eibach set? is it worth spending the extra money?

i would go for the eibach if it doesn't cost that much. If you were planning to use the OEM shocks, they would probably die out sooner if you had a lower drop. I have the Eibach springs and I dont' think I would want to go any lower. i never posted a picture before of my car, but I'll see what I can post in the coming days. FYI my car is always dirty and has some scratches on the front bumper I'm not so happy about.

2.5 is fine without skirt, 2.5-3.0 is slammed.

agreed..it is better to swap the shocks and springs at the same time bc your stock shocks won't last long at all

Don't forget the camber kit at the same time if you can (or want). That's what I forgot and it's been 5 months and still haven't gotten it done yet.

Well, .2 and a .1 inch difference isn't much.

You probably get that much of a difference when you sit in the car, or fill the tank.

But, I'd go with the Eibach's between these two, and get yourself some Koni's or Tokico's.

search "blown shock". the shocks blow prematurely since they do not match the springs.

Thanks for the input guys, I read about the premature shock wear, and decided to pick up a set of Tockio HP Blue’s shocks, I am still however undecided. I picked up the RS-R springs from an online vendor, the main reason I am concerned is about the quality of the springs? Or the spring rates. However I believe the Eibach is a reputable brand?

Anyway if this makes a difference I am getting the Eibach set for $110 CDN.

RS*R makes some nice products, I wonder if they plan on making an exhaust for our car. You should be fine with those springs and Tokico struts. I also think you would be the first with that suspension combo, so why not be a pioneer?

I've got the Eibach springs with Bilstein shocks.Drop is just right. This setup transformed my car, firm but progressive,so yeah change the shocks while you're doing the springs.BTW don't forget the rear camber kit.
