RX8 wheels - too wide??
i was just wondering if anyone with 18" wheels could help with this...
i'm thinking of getting some rx8 18" wheels, but was wondering if they were too wide?
from what i gather, the rx8 wheels are 18x8.0 +50.
i'm guessing an offset of 50 isn't too bad, close enough to the stock +55...
the only thing i'm concerned about is the width of the rims...
is 8.0 too wide? would it cause any rubbing? seeing as the stock 17" are 7.0.
same goes with tyres, would i be best getting 225/40 for them?

The centerbore of a wheel is the size of the machined hole on the back of the wheel that centers the wheel properly on the hub of the car. When this hole is machined to exactly match the hub so the wheels are precisely positioned, minimizing the chance of a vibration.
