How often should tire rotations be done for directional tires? Thanks.

i'd say lower since they're directional and likely summer tires, a set of ES100's wouldn't even last 20k miles total. i'd do 5k miles if you're handy

So, do you rotate them front-to-back only or do you take em' off the rims, cross rotate, and remount/balance etc. ?

If you're properly aligned and balanced - front to back should be all you need.

If your camber is off - either accidentally or by choice - or you have some other alignment issue remounting on the other side of the car might buy you a little more mileage on the tire once you fix the problem. But that's a costly way of rotating.

if you have directional tires, you can cross rotate the tires....it would only have to be front to back

you CAN technically cross rotate directional tires.......the directional part is mostly for water evacuation......so if u know for sure u will NEVER encounter standing water or rainy conditions.....it can be done.

I rotate my Yokohama ES100's every oil change/every 5,000 Miles and have over 40,000 Miles on them with one track day under it's belt.

I also have my tire pressures set at 34F/32R.

I get mine done for free every 3K at americas tire.

And if you have Ultra Summers, your not going to want to wait much longer then that.
