Removing center caps?

I haven't had my car in 3 weeks, but anyone know how to remove the center caps from the rims? It must be too simple because I can't find it in my Helm's manual.

I'm I actually want to take the center cap off my SSRs (stick out too much) and am trying to figure out how to remove those. So I figured I might play w/ my OEMs as well and see if they work together.

When you take the wheel off you can press them out with the handle of a screwdriver. They are held inplace by sprung plastic with a possibly a little metal ring reinforcing it, you may be able to press it out with your fingers but you have to do it from the back side.
