Quick Advice on Rim choice.

I would like to quickly ask you guys if these would fit our TSX.

I'm driving 06 TSX PWP with Tein SS dropped about 2.25~2.5 Inch, currently looking at 2 sets of rims, both 19s.

1st set. 19in Ronjon Inspyre
These i believe were put on 2nd gen CL

2nd set.19" ZENETI DEUCE black/silver RIMS w/LIP 19x8.5J +40 offset

My quesion:
1. which one would you prefer?
2. Do these fit okay with my current setup?
3. Can these fit if i raise my car a bit? (Tein SS adjusting height)

I need answer fast !
Thanks guys.

I would go with the RonJons personally. They look less busy and cleaner IMHO.

They would probably fit with your set up now, but I think you might rub with a 19x8.5 rim.

Raising your car would probably help, also rolling your fenders would help.

Those are my points and opinions, if I am wrong with any info, someone please correct me and help this guy out.

1. you didn't tell us the size of the RonJons.
so they're 19's... so what's the width and the offset?

I prefer the ronjons, but I don't like either for the TSX.

2. no.
the bottom ones will definitely not fit.
no way, not unless you switch to an air runner system.
the RonJons maybe. probably.
they're made for Acura, so probably.

3. nope.
8.5 is too wide.
8 inch wide is what you want.
+40 offset is too low.
+42 minimum is what you want.
so the bottom ones won't fit, period.
if you jack up your car to get them on, you'll be
the laughing stock of everyone who sees the car.

and again, without the dimensions of the RonJons, nobody can tell you
if they'll fit or not.

keep the car lowered.
buy rims that fit on your lowered car.

like 19x8x+45 or so.

aiite
called up the seller
the rims are 19 x 7.5 Ronjon Inspyre

i jus called up Ronjon
The Inspyres can fit no problem (specs 5x114.3 19" 7.5" +50)
the car can even go lower, and it won't fit the fender.
i guess i'll choose ronjon then...

okay.

19 x 7.5 x +50 is mint.

you can slam the hell out of your car with those rims.
235/35/19 is probably the tire you want.

You can get 'em on ebay... they're vinyl with adhesive on the back. It's peel and stick. They disappear on and off b/c they're not officially licensed. You just have to keep your eyes open from time to time...

I don't know what you are talking about, 8.5 with +40 will have no problem fitting. You just gotta play around little, but there shouldn't be any problem at all.

I will pick neither. I'm not a huge fan of ronjon and second wheels looks like utter

Assuming we're talking about the RJs as your wheel choice...

235 width rubber isn't "technically" supposed to be mounted on that narrow of a wheel. When I say "technically", I mean that nearly all tire manufacturers spec 235 width rubber on 8" wide rims and above. They do this for liability reasons --- you also won't be able to warranty the tire should the situation arise. I've never personally known anyone who's had a problem, but theoretically you'd have more sidewall flex which could lead to tire failure under hard cornering, etc.

235 pros = better dry traction, more rim protection, comfier ride, closest to OEM diameter
235 cons = heavier (i.e. slower acceleration), not meant to fit on 7.5" wheel

225 pros = lighter (i.e. better acceleration), better wet traction, better snow traction (if you run it 4 seasons), appropriately spec'd for your wheel
225 cons = less rim protection from bends, firmer ride

Tires i'm def. gonna go with some Kumhos.
1st reason i have to go low budget with tires. can't spend more than 500.
2nd reason some Kumho's aren't bad at all , i like em. ^^

For the price, Kumho isn't bad at all.

How much are you trying to spend including tires?

I was hoping $1500 was your budget then I can help you find some wheels, but never mind.
