Talking Progress RSB from Excelerate Performance

I just received my Progress RSB (08 TSX) that I ordered from Excelerate Performance, at a great price may I add. Thanks to the owner of Excelerate, who ever you are, for getting this to me as fast as it did.

I plan to install it the first weekend of August. I'm really busy right now. But, I can't wait.

Future purchases: Ice Box, Pullies, Header, then Tein Coilovers... Excelerate you will soon see another purchase from me...

Coils then RSB is good but RSB alone doesn't not render itself useless. It's like intake and headers. Sure they compliment each other, but getting intake alone is a noticeable mod. I know that RSB gives some noticeability in the handling of the car so no need to get coils first. Besides, coils are getting expensive nowadays.

Nice, I'm tempted to order one from Josh too. I agree with mdk. You don't need coilovers prior but they would be nice together. I've heard that the RSB is actually more noticeable on stock suspension opposed to coilovers. Either way, great to hear you had a good experience. I ordered the aluminum pedals from him and got them in 2 days after paying too!

You are right, it doe smake a difference. I was just saying go with the coils since he started going with the handling route.

What are your goals for the car?

Bananaskin, one goal is that I want to make the car's appearance even better, by lowering it. Before I get ripped apart, that's just my take on it, our cars look so much better lowered. But the main reason for the suspension is that I love taking twisty roads and sharp turns (when safe) and I'd like to now I can do so with no problem or fear. Since my care is no Supra with a single turbo pushing 600+ HP, and it will never be (but a man can dream), I'm concentrating on the suspension first. And I'll take heed with what you and others have said, go with the Coilovers then go with the intake and hearder. However, the coilovers will depend on how much I can get them for, mdkxtreme you are right they are pricey. But I willl try to get the coilovers.

If you want to go cheaper go with the Tein SS, but this doesnt come with upper pillow ball mounts. I think you could get them for 900? maybe

I'm using the same bar. You should plan on replacing the end links too; the OE ones are crap. Replacements are much more stout and have grease fittings. Rock Auto (rockauto.com) has them for a good price.

Well, I had the RSB installed, and yea what a difference. I really how my car responds when turning. I def feel more confident pushing my car through curves. The wifey even noticed the difference, and she wants one now installed on her 07 Accord.

I had the bar installed at Signal Auto Torrance, CA.
