Privat Netz Question
I want to purchase some of these privat netz. I'm deciding between gloss black and the silver ones.
Does anyone know a good cheap place to get these??
Bolt Pattern should be 114.3 correct? (Yes i searched)
Reading the thread about wheel specs.
I'm going with the 18x8 113.3 and a +40 offset.
Just to clarify and reassure myself this would fit flush with my car and I would not have rubbing issues correct?
I'm going to be lowered on Tein Basics about a finger gap in the front and a little more than a finger gap in the rear.

I don't see why nobody has said it...
I don't think they'll fit.
yes, I think you'll rub.
+40 offset? ah, no. too low.
the stock is +55 on a 7 inch wide rim.
you're going to an 8 inch rim, and dropping the offset 15mm.
I'd say you'll certainly rub.
you'll need an offset of at least +42, more like +45 or +48 if you don't
want any rubbing issues.
oh, and by the way, 18's with a lip like that on the TSX look quite small.
they'll look like 16's or 17's.
the best bet for 18's is to get a full faced wheel.
for wheels with lips, 19's are more proper for the TSX.

^^^ agreed ..
go to buywheelstoday.com and check out the wheels they have there.. if you are into privat that is.. I would just hold out a few more months and go with some nice volk or gram lights.. definitely worth the money.

In any case, the 7.5 setup with +45 would be your best bet

hrmmmmm still not really helping me in choosing my wheels
im looking at the 18's and 19's.
can someone tell me what will fit for both sizes without any turning problems or rubbing issues.
these are my assumptions that will fit?
18x7.5 +45 offset 5 114.3
19x8 +40 offset 5 114.3
for each size could someone please tell me what the exact tire sizes I should be running.
im going to be lowered on tein basics.
thanks it will help me out a lot

a general rule of thumb is to go with just about the same or close to the factory offset. TSX factory is +55.. I am running +49.. on 19x8 and there is some rubbing but not too much.. but i am also somewhat slammed.. only have about 1 finger gap.
check out the tire and wheel guide.. it is stickied in this section. You will see all the sizes that have been put on a TSX with no modification to the wheel well.
the 18" in my opinion with that size lip will be ok.. but will look smaller than they are.. because of the lip. IMHO
good luck.
oh yeah.. and if you get one of those two sizes.. you should run 40 series .. either 225/40 or 235/40.. I would go 235.... and get the 18X8

Need more room in

i'm running 18x7.5 +45 w/ 225/45 tires in the front, with my wheel well tabs pushed up, i don't rub unless i hit a turn hard. my rears are 18x8 +50 w/ 235/40 tires.
also take into account that i'm dropped pretty low, so you may not need to push the tabs up unless you're as low

your running different sizes on the front and the rear.
i was thinking it was suppose to be the same size in the front and in the rear?
i was deciding on the 18x7.5 +45 with 225/40 privat netz gloss black all around?
also dropped on about a finger gap in the front and a little more in the rear
