Painting wheels

I don't know if I'll do it, but I have seen people do it. If I did I'd paint my wheels a glossy black, but how do you do it? Is it just spray paint or do you need a spray gun and some fancy stuff?

Paint and a clearcoat - spray away and you're done.

Yes - spoke with a couple of alloy refurbers about my SF's (Epsilons ) as they corroded badly.
Thought about getting them done and changed from diamond polished to titanium/gunmetal.
