nail blew out rear tire and tread on stocky are bald.
I narrowed it down to these two. yes i searched but couldn't find anything comparing these two.

what i want? good tread life (around 50,000), awesome handling and the tires have to be quiet

I had falkens I bought when I got a flat, I felt they were way too soft and would roll over in corners.

No experience witht he avid but reviews I've seen say they are the better handling tire.

tread life seems good, they are a softer tire so i expect them to wear faster. I the are MUCH better than the OEM for handling and snow, but i dont really have anything to compare them too.

just ordered the v4s becuase a lot of people said the falkens were too soft, especially the sidewall.

got v4s for $109 each so i don't know if that is expensive or not.

so I have to drive around for two days on the spare until the tires arrive.

i put some of the avids on my moms prelude and she really likes them for the smooth and quiet ride.

I have the Avid V4S on my TSX - had them for about 15000 miles. Very happy with them.

discount got some in within hours of placing the order. they look great!! much more agressive than the stock ones. logged about 1 mile on these and so far so good.
