Those look great on your car! Very unique. I am going to powder my RonJon Inspyres gunmetal over the winter.

there were so many places to choose from and the place that i went to didnt want to do it.. they only do dealer work.. they're located in brooklyn.. 'CP Processing'.. i told them that i need it by saturday for the show and that they were the closest place to me.. so they cut me some slack

mmmm...multiple girls on their knees and one on all fours

oh yeah...about the rims...yeah...they look really nice. I agree that it is drop time though. What's a ballpark figure on the powdercoating procedure? And how long did it take to get done?

Powdercoating pretty much rules. That looks great. Is there a clear coat over that?

It seems easy to clean for now, but a clear coat would have provided some excellent protection.

The Process
They showed me a template of a powder that was similar to the original gunmetal finish, but I asked them if they had any gold. There were two to chose from, a 'satin' gold metallic and a gold matte finish, which by comparison just looked too dull. I chose the metallic and he then got some of the powder and dipped a piece of hot metal into it and showed me what it looked like. Then told me that it doesn't need a clear coat but if I wanted one he would do it.
'Nah, that's fine."
First, they chemically stripped the wheels because of the extensive brutality that those wheels have endured from the previous owner (which they may be forgiven for seeing how it's the original 18x8.5 version of the A-Spec). They patched up the deep rash with most likely seems to be body filler. Powdercoated it, then baked it, face only at my request, seeing how it was cheaper and effective. After he did that; he powdercoated it again, this time the whole wheel because it didn't look right to him. So the anxiety was killing me and their location seemed a bit shady, so the paranoia kicked into overdrive, but when I picked it up I was very satisfied and gave him a nice little monetary treat, which he was reluctant in taking. Overall, I would definately go there again..

i think it would have looked way better if you matched it to the body color of your car.
