lifespan of OEM susp.
out of curiosity, what is the expected life on a city driven daily driver for our stock OEM suspensions? I couldnt justify dropping the coin when i bought my 04, but now that i have some extra change...you know...only if it needs it...heh.

Plenty of threads on this. Basically depends on your driving habits and the area you drive in but the lifespan of the stock suspension is good as long as it's not overly abused, driven on potholes etc. You can get plenty of miles out of them.

If you run Tein S-tech's on stock shocks, you will have a very bouncy and uncomforatble ride, poor handling (shocks can't do their job of keeping the springs dampened), and I can all but guarantee that you will have to re-do the labour again to replace the blown shocks within a year or two at most.
Even with the milder drop of the H-Tech's, I was able to notice all of the above (didn't blow a shock though, but I did upgrade to Tokico HP shocks and have been VERY happy since).
