Just lowered + new wheels/tires, anyone roll fenders before?

Hey everyone.

So I just got the eibach prokit on my 04 tsx, with 18x7.5 +40 work meister s1's. Every time I go over a bump, the back rubs really badly.

Would rolling my fenders take care of this problem? I really don't want to do that before I'm sure it would help... (And I have a friend with an actual fender roller + heat gun, not doing the cheap baseball bat version here).

Thanks,
Ashley

Well it could be your fender liner or the fender itself. I would look under the wheel well and see where you see the scrape/rub marks and then you can decide from there if you need to tuck or roll etc. If your friend has the roller and gun then I'd hope he knew what he was doing so you could ask him to look too and see what he thinks.

What width tires are you running on those Work's?

Also, +40 offset is just a *hair* outside of what is considered the "safe" range for TSX's. You may have to play w/ some negative camber to see the results you want (ie: no rubbing).

yeah, it's probably your tire size because +40 with a 7.5 width tire is pretty safe.
