Just had Tein Basis installed!

After putting far too many miles on my Tanabe suspension and dealing with a car that was way too low for my taste I pulled the trigger on Tein Basis suspension.

My car has almost 140K miles on it and now it feels like a brand new car again. The beat down Tanabe suspension just made the car feel so dead and was not good at dealing with imperfections in the road. Also as I mentioned the ride height was too low but after a few NE winters I couldnt adjust them because everything was rusted together.

Now with the Tein suspension I dont feel the need to steer around every bump in the road. I also have a much more reasonable ride height that will reduce the amount of scraping I do when pulling into and out of steep driveways. I actually feel like driving my car aggressively again and can already tell I won't feel nearly as fatigued driving it. The car feels sporty and capable of being pushed hard but also does a great job of absorbing the harshness of bumps in the road.

After owning my car since 2004 and being the original owner I am surprised that I can still be excited about driving it. Prior to getting the Tein installed I was really getting tired of driving it around but post install I have a completely different perspective. I would 100% recommend purchasing Tein Basis for the TSX AND if you live in MA I would also recommend having Dent Sport Garage install them. They were extremely professional, patient with my questions and did the job the right way the first time.

Sounds good, and if I were going to keep my 05 maybe I'd consider it. One tip though..... (I know you're excited, but maybe you should learn how to spell what you installed).

if clicking is too hard for you read below

The Street Basis damper is the evolution of the popular BASIC coilover. Developed to provide a sporty ride feeling and aggressive stance. The shortened shell case design provides optimum damper stroke at lower than standard vehicle ride height. Vehicle ride height is adjustable via the ZT coated threaded sleeve. Updated internal components and external coatings increase durability and product life. Street Basis dampers are great for daily driving and spirited driving for all types of drivers.
Made in Japan under strict quality control standards and developed by highly trained suspension engineers.

ride to work was so much more enjoyable with new suspension, this has certainly helped alleviate my desire for a new car.

Did you also have a rear camber kit installed with your Tein Street Basis coilovers? I'm close to pulling the trigger on these...
