Unless you are stepping up to a BBS or that level of wheel, I wouldn't worry too much about quality problems from Wheel Max. The wheels they sell/distribute are made in an overseas foundry just like the majority of lower end wheels, regardless of price.
I do not have any personal experience with Wheel Max wheels, I do have a good amount of experience with manufacturing and can make a pretty educated guess as to where most of these wheels are made.
In my opinion, if you like the look of the wheel and are not concerned with the minimal weight disadvantage I say go for it. I think they are great looking wheels, knockoffs or not! Of course, all this assuming that Wheel Max will stand behind the products. Definitely check into their warranty before doing anything!

Actually Tenzo is not that bad. Tenzo / Skunk2 / 5zigen you know they all the same quality level.

I ordered from wheelmax maybe like 6-7yrs ago when they first had a website. But I wouldn't from them again, I heard horror stories like they put you on hold for 1 1/2 hours and your calls go straight to voicemail all day long.

you heard , but did they pull any of that shit on you. i also have read other forums, people complaining about customer service but not about quality. I wouldnt order from them just because of one story i read about a guy that bought a set and the whole set had curb scratches all over then he had to return them and that was the end of the story but it was enough to give me nightmares....

there are other wheels that are in the same price range that are much higher in quality...say Racing Hart for example...I've bought low quality rims before when I used to have a civic and believe me they don't hold up to the highways and streets of the Triboro area like other higher quality wheels that I've had before.
