How do the Acura Silver Star Rims Hold Up over time?
Orig owner of a 2004 TSX w/stock rims. Thinking about an upgrade to the silver stars that were an option in '04-'06, as I recently damaged one rim and the dealer wants over $500 to replace it -- ONE rim. Or get the silver stars for $250 each. Seems like a ripoff, and the SS look much better ... but are they only 1/2 as good?
Anyone who has driven on silver stars for a while (especially those in in areas with rough roads and potholes) please speak your peace.
Thanks.

I think the Silverstars may be cheaper because they were also offered as a Honda HFP part on the Accords - and as you know, Honda charges less for parts than Acura!

The honda ones are actually a lighter color than the acura ones. I have the honda ones and cant complain. I've been on them for almost a year now and have hit some pretty nasty pot holes in philly.
I'd say go for it, you'll love the darker color

same as dmassott, I have the Honda wheels (EP-R5) for about half a year now. They've held up pretty well against the Northern VA/DC roads.
When I was shopping around for them, I know acura of escondido had a set of silverstars and the EP-R5 on ebay for 550$
