Question How different looking are the A-spec and the OEM silver sparkle rims?

Does anyone one know where I can find pictures of the A-spec rims and the silver sparkle rims together so I can compare them? I have searched on this site and have seen them separately but not together in one thread. There is one picture on eBay, but it’s hard to really see the different finishes. I have read that the A-spec has a gunmetal finish and the silver sparkle color is more like the stock rims. My car is silver.

A-Spec (as on HandA's TL section) are chrome looking finish (spray job rather than electroplated) but not bright chrome - slightly darker, but not a whole lot.
Gunmetal is a completely different colour - like a fairly dark grey.
The silver sparkle you refer to is what's called Diamond cut - I think there's no clearcoat used, but I may be wrong.

A-Spec

If you want to see the wheels together, simply right click the image and save it to your desktop.
Alternatively use Firefox and open them in new tabs - you can flick back and forth between the tabs, but the first option makes life a bit easier if you use a pint program to paste the two images side by side, making one larger image.

That's the chrome look rim - not the Sparkle Silver.

Thanks for all the info. I was looking at Acura of Esco’s ebay store, there is a set of A-spec rims part #08W17-SEC-200B,at the bottom of that listing there is a 2007 set of A-Spec rims part#08W18-SEC-200E is the only difference between these and 200B set the TPMS? From that link you sent it looks this way.

Any opinions on how the Satin Finish A-Specs will look on my silver car? Our San Diego Chargers rock!

Better than the chrome look would, that's for sure.
I think it'll look fine, but maybe the contrast with gunmetal would look better.
That said, you could always have them professionally stripped and sprayed any colour you like, thereby having a unique set of A-Specs.
Just a thought.
