Holy Crap, im getting BBS LM's in 18's for a super cheap price!!! READ ON!!!

yup, you heard right.... my little brothers, friends, older bro. has like insane connections up the ass for parts, i JUST was told this like a week ago.... i was like WTF?? why didnt you tell me earlier???, thank god i didnt get those $450 for 4 18" REAX wheels on Ebay which weigh like 32 lbs each

So my bro told me to print out the picture of the wheel i wanted, and the specs i wanted and he'll pass it to his best friend which in turn will be passed to the main man, guess what the guy says.... ANY TYPE of wheel for $500 for all 4 ....you heard right, i was HAPPY as pig in shit, so i printed out the wheels of my dreams.... BBS LM's in 18x8.... perfect specs, 50+ offset, 21 lbs ..... so it's passed on to the main man....

i get word 2 days later saying that those wheels are too expensive and will have to charge $1000.... i was like dammit, sweet deal anyways knowing the fact that these wheels are over $3000 for a set... i was still happy as hell....

next day, my brother does a big favor for his friend which is the hookups little brother.... driving 50+ miles and picking him up from his job and dropping him off at his house... the older bro(hookup) was so grateful, he says " Don't trip about the wheels, i got you" MEEEAAANING... the wheels are now GRATIS, yes you heard right.... FREE, just for giving his lil bro a ride.... this guy is insane.... i guess i benefitted big time and didn't have to do a DAMN THING, wheels are coming in next week

Since so many places sell wheels. I'd be willing to bet the retail markup on wheels is a lot. So if he were to sell them at cost. I wouldn't doubt that he could get them for that price.

So you actually think that a set of 18x8 BBS LM's go for $500.00 at cost? If a dealer paid $500.00 for those rims that retail at about $750 a pop...there would be no more drug dealers on this planet! 500% Mark Up...yah

Hope you get the wheels man.

I've gotten hooked up by friends of friends before, and they don't always come through, but when they do it's phat. $500 sounds a little too good to be true, so don't get yourself too excited until you have the wheels in your hands. Sounds like there's a good chance he's gonna come through though.

no, you need tuner lug nuts, and you probably want hub centric rings as well

tuner lugs have a round seat instead of the acorn shape of the oem lugs. google it. you need tuner/rounded seat lugs for any aftermarket wheel, and make sure you get 12 x 1.5 sized ones.

actually I don't know what it measures, but there are 2 types, 12 x 1.25 (for toyota, subaru) and 12 x 1.5. its something w/ the stud length I believe.

um, well ronjons are made differently to be all OEM-like, so I'm not sure what lugs you'd use on those. you'd need tuner ones for sure on other aftermarket rims. by having the wrong seat type its possible the lug could loosen itself while driving.

12 = the dia of the lug and 1.5 = the thread pitch (distance between threads).
