help 18x8 offset 43 with 235/40 tire will it fit?

I bought a set of 18x8 offset 43 wheels and I am looking to match them with a set of 235/40 tires? will it fit without rubbing? or do I need to buy a 225/40 tires better?
Thanks for any help..

Depends if you're lowered or not. I had 235/40 on my 18x7.5 +42 rims lowered to no finger gap and rarely rubbed. Only times it rubbed was when I was hitting bumps and/or with a couple of ppl in the car. You should be good as long as you're not slammed in regards to rubbing. Some negative camber will take care of it or you can roll your fenders if you choose but shouldn't be necessary with the proper negative camber.

I ran TL wheels for while (8" wide with 45 offset w/a 235 tire) and I rubbed occasionally. I'm lowered some, so I agree that it will all depend on whether or not you're lowered.
