ok, i did a search for 245 width tires and i could only find fitment related threads. i wanted to know if anyone actually has or had 245 tires and what experiences they have/had with them. currently, i'm running this setup: 235/45/17 & 45 offset but i want to run 245/35 or so. i see a lot of people have 8" rims, but i think pretty much everyone has 235s. i'd appreciate any insight.

 

there is a guy on cardomain that has 245/35/20 on a meteor silver tsx not sure what the width on the wheels are but i know he has 245's on it ...

 

Those would be some awfully wide tires and I'd be worried about rubbing on the inside during turns. Otherwise, you'd need to go with an offset that would cause the tire to stick out a bit. I guess it kinda is an aesthetic issue at that point.

 

I have 235's and the car trabbles alot, try not to get a tire that has full circular tread patterns.
