Unhappy Had it looking for wheels!! [Long]

I have almost had it looking for wheels!

Sure there are a lot of wheels out there, but nothing that I like. Ya, I'm older so I've been through all this before and I'm much more pickey, but damn, I've never had this much frustration finding a wheel for my car. Either the styles are too wild, or the offset is to small, or the rim width can't hold 235s, or they don't make it in silver, or it's too damn expensive........and so on.

I thought I had found it with the Nakayama Vador 5, but of course the offset is +45 and with 235s that's probably going to rub. Yes BBS makes a wheel that will hold 235s but its $550+ and that's just too much wheel for the car.

The only wheel I've found so far that I find suitable is the ASA AR1 (much like the BBS). It's not my first choice, but the pickins are gettin slim. I really want a nice semi-wide 5 spoke that actually looks stock in 18x7.5 +48/+50.

I'm at wits end and I'm venting!!! HELP!!

On a side note, I do love the sound of my Injen......

Them Euro-Rs are sweet. I'd have to agree with cajun. There's nothing out there that screams "YES!!" IMO.

if you dont mind getting 225s, the vador +45 offset should fit on the tsx. i have RacingHart C-4 +42 offset and have had no rubbing at all

Try Enkei WTE II, but they are hard to find in US.

Or Buddy Club P1 Racing II wheels, they have a deep dish look and a nice shiny lip.

I scoured the web for wheels the past 2 weeks and I find this Enkei and Buddy Club as well as the Works Emotion and Meister S2R.

Here are some pics :

IMO these are nice......some people in Japan even put ProDrive GC-07 on their Accord Euro Rs. But I can't seem to find the correct lug pattern coz the ProDrive GC-07 only has 100 P.C.D.

Done

I finally bit the bullet and went with the ASA AR1's and 235 tires. Will be here in a few days. While I was at it, I went ahead and ordered Comptech springs and sway bar. Should have it all installed in a week or two.

total for wheels & tires from Tirerack was just under $1,500. TireRack even called me after I placed my order to let me know that I chose tires wider than what they recommend. Told them they fit (fingers still crossed on that one), but glad they were on the ball. Think I'll be done after all this. I never thought that any of the engine bolt on's would show much improvement on the TSX and with the latest CompTech dynos, that appears to be the case. Hell, I only installed the Injen for some loud torquey sound when I blow past those pickups/SUVs driving slow in the left lane. Unless Jackson Racing comes out with a supercharger, the TSX engine is probably best left alone to enjoy a long fruitfull care free life.........rambled enough I guess. I will post some pics once all is installed to show tire fit, drop, tire width etc.

Hey! that Enkei looks like wheels on EVO 6.5 Tommi Makkinen edition. Anyway i talked to a sales rep from Prodrive and they said that they're coming out with another bolt pattern for TSX by next year, also they're having aero parts for TSX by summer 2004.

Wow! What a sweet car. I can definitely see the resemblance to the BMW 7-series with those wheels on the car.
