Ok guys, what do you suggest for a 4 set rims to use with winter tires. Something not expensive? Any good deals that you know about.
Post here.

just look for another set of OEM wheels off the black market or ebay, those should be pretty cheap.

Or try tirerack.com and find a set on sale that'll fit a TSX.

I personally don't see a need in spending too much money on a set of winter wheels

You could always opt for steelies.

If you look on tirerack, you can get a package of 16" steelies with tires for a pretty good price. i am going to try my 16 x 6.5 that I still have from my old car this weekend.

16" is best for serious winter, they fit, and many more choices of snow tires for the tsx

I used a set of 16" wheels off a Mazda (I think it was off a Miata). Same offset and bolt pattern. Fits but the front brake clearance is VERY close. That's probably the only thing you'd want to check if you do go 16"

looks like you can't get the steelies on tirerack for the tsx right now (at least not when i configure a package for my '07). might get some cheapo alloys instead, any other good deals out there?

is there any problem with having a set of winters without the TPMS in the wheel, like does something beep annoyingly or is there a flashing light. if so can you easily disable it?

So far I put these on my wish list on tirerack, $730 shipped. I haven't made a decision:
Continental ExtremeWinterContact (Studless Ice & Snow)
205/60R16 XL. T Speed Rated

Elbrus I05 Silver Machined w/Ice Coating (4) 16X7.5

I almost got the above, but tirerack had a better deal with 16" sport edition f7s and blizzaks for $636 (before shipping)

I just got a flat last night on one of my snow tires. Had to order another one this morning. A knife blade in the road shredded the interior sidewall.

I just ordered the Continental ExtremeWinterContact and Elbrus I05 Silver Machined w/Ice Coating. my only concern is that the rims are 21 pounds each!

New wheels on and snowing here in MN, love the Blizzak's already. Any idea why my TPMS sensors are not warning me? I did not purchase new ones with the new wheels. Even when i click through it says my tire pressure is ok at all 4 corners. Strange?

the Conti's are rated pretty well and I like the look of the Elbrus better actually but wanted something easier to clean and the price was right.
