Finally found a wheel that fits over Stoptech's w/o spacers! (Enkei PF01)

The versions listed specifically for the 1G TSX won't fit but the version listed for Brembo-equipped TL's (17"x8" +50) do! There's about 2mm of clearance between the caliper and rim and about the same amount of clearance between the caliper and spokes. I took a few night-time pics (I was too ancy to see if they fit during the day and I couldn't find my camera) to show the clearance. I just ordered the remaining 3 so I should have the set installed by next Thursday and pics of much higher quality will definitely ensue!

YEOUCH you're really cutting it close with 17s. Why didn't you go bigger?

Still looking pretty good How are the Stoptechs compared to stock?

You're really cutting it close there. No room for error at all.
I have those wheels too, and love them. I got a +43 though. Out a little further, but far enough to make them look gaudy. +1 for your choice of wheels.

I tried the 17x7 +48 as well as the 17x7.5 +45 versions that TireRack lists for the TSX but neither fit. How wide are your +43 PF01's?

are those 17s? Thats why they wouldn't fit. You would have been safe with any 18" rim. BBK lots great, but it does look claustraphobic in the 17" rim. A nice drop will do her justice though.

Yeah, 17"s. I actually wouldn't have been safe with any 18" wheel since my clearance issues were between the wheel's spokes and the caliper, not the inner rim and the caliper. I've got a few old 18" wheels from my Eclipse days and neither of them fit over the caliper (18x7.5 +45 SSR Integral A2's and 18x8 +40 Konig Verdicts) and those wheels are known for how much caliper clearance they offer.

And the car's already lowered about 1.2" in the rear and 1.1" in the front with an A-spec suspension.

not to hate because the wheels are really nice and stoptechs are awesome (though i would have gone red with silver wheels) That said, you need to lower that car. It looks terrible. The a spec suspension is such a waste of money that wheel gap is awful. I mean you spent what 3k for brakes and 1200 for rims? Lower that bitch!

You could have used spacers. I had the same issue back when I had a civic and the problem was solved with spacers. I bought some rims online that I even called the manufacturer, spacers solved the issue. I would also look at lowering the car more, you need to fill the wheel well. To each his own though, if you like the look with the A-specs then leave it.

Hence the title of this thread "fits *without* spacers". I was using 10mm spacers with my previous wheels 17x8" +48 (+38 effectively) O.Z. Ultraleggera's but I just hated how much the wheels stuck out past the fenders.

But I'm probably gonna be selling the Stoptech's, anyway. All these fitment issues drive me crazy...
