Eibach springs help!!
I just bought a pair of Eibach sportline springs for my TSX and took my car to the shop to have them installed and when they took the whole thing apart, they called me and said I have the wrong springs. So then I called the shop I bought them from and told the guy he sent me the wrong ones...he told me exactly which model # I bought and said they were right. I called eibach and asked them what could be wrong, and they said find a new shop.. But now I'm really angry because the shop charged me 200 for the labor to tear my car apart and put it back. I am tempted to bring them back and tell them to figure it out or refund my money (which I doubt they'll do). They showed me when I got there that the spring doesn't go over the shock thingy or whatever or it goes over the thing that it sits in...I haven't a clue what I was really looking at, I don't know much in the mechanical end of cars....Can anyone help me????? Do I really have the wrong springs???

The part # on the box and printed or stamped on the springs (2) 4.4540F and (2) 4.4440R (I am kinda guessing on the rear, they aren't in front of me) But I am positive on the front ones...everyone but them is telling me I have the right ones..the springs are red. And the part number on the box is the first one..4.4540 And these people acutally sell these and lower alot of vehicles..this is my third time having it done on other cars and my car is stock. (except wheels). I wish I could cancel my check card purchase..

Hmmmm.....4.4540 is right for the front. 4.4440 is actually the Accord V6 kit, but I didn't think the fitment was any different, just maybe a little stiffer. Gotta call Eibach I think......

they should all be 4.4540. the accord v6 springs are different. the accord i4 shares the same springs with the tsx.

I'd guess you shop is a bunch of morons, but if you have problems again, try to get pics or at least a detailed explanation of what's wrong.
