Does this fit question?????
that's close.
why the 45 sidewall? that's too high in my opinion.
I run a 40 sidewall on my 18's.
+40 is really pushing it, you will rub with an aggressive drop most likely.
you can roll your fenders, snap the clips, tuck the lining and whatnot
if you like.
1.25" doesn't sound like much to me, everyone seems to judge it different though.
If you can fit a finger or two between the tires and the bottom of the fenders,
you will be fine.
but if you are like me, and your tires tuck inside the fenders, then +40 is too low.
I run a +48 and only clear by a mm or two.
I run 225/40, anything bigger and I would probably rub.
I run 7.5 inch wide rims though, so for 8 inch wide I would run 225/40 or maybe 235/40.
