i say none...get yourself a nice drop first before you go with the rims...wheel gap just kills the looks of the rims in my opinion

btw if you're going to pay $45 for generic lugs (which probably don't come with a locks), just forget them and buy some good ones. My suggestion are mcgard splinelugs, they're fantastic and cost $90. they come w/ 2 keys because of the unique shape of the lugs and key.

and make sure whoever you get the wheels from includes the proper hub rings

Just an update

Here's an update on a steal of a deal (I think) I got from www.wheelsboutique.com:

Nakayama Vador 5 18x7.5" in hyperblack on 235/40-18 Bridgestone Potenza RE750, mounted, balanced and shipped = $1500!!!

This definitely beats the $1517 for wheels and Dunlop FM901 from DiscountTireDirect, don't you think???

Update...

Well well, just my luck! No one has the Nakayama Vadors now. DTD even called Nakayama and they said they were no longer producing the wheel for the US or whatever. SO...

I went with these instead:

Enkei RP03 18x7.5" 48 offset wrapped in 235/40-18 Falken FK451 for $1500 mounted and shipped and all that jazz! I sure hope they look good on my car. I should have them by the weekend, so I'll post up some pics when they get here!

Amanda, I LOVE those rims! Thank you for finding a pic of them on a TSX. Let me know where you purchased them, I'm not sure if it goes against the rules to post where you purchased them, but if so, PM me info. I'll be taking delivery of my TSX tomorrow so I want to seriously start looking for a set of wheels.

I think that's a great choice. From a performance standpoint, they will sure be better than the Vadors as they're much lighter.

Looking forward to the pix.

That blue tsx needs an intervention.... if anyone out there knows whoms car that is please go remove the wing in the middle of the night for it's own good!

The vadors are one of my favorite rims, but you definitely made a good choice as a backup. Post some pics when you get them on.

Finally, they are here!!!

Yay, my wheels finally came in today! They look even better than what I imagined, and I never realized how big 18" wheels were until I started pulling them out of the boxes, lol! I can't put them on tonight but they should be on tomorrow evening and I'll post pics of them on my car. Here are some pics I took in the kitchen....

Now I just need to find someone to by my OEM wheels and tires, and I can get the HFP suspension kit!!!

Looks awesome Amanda! I'm leaning towards a few Enkei wheels now. Enkei RP03 like yours, the RP02 (chrome) or the RS5. I'm also going to look into the Ron Jon Inspyres (Silver or maybe chrome)

Can't wait to see them on your Accord!

The RP03 actually comes in a chrome-like finish as well. It's call SBC, which I forget what it stands for, but it's the appearance and strength of chrome but a lot lighter. They are around $100 more a wheel per www.wheelsboutique.com. If I had the extra cash, I would have got that finish instead, hehe.

Thanks everyone for the replies. I'll definitely post some pics up tomorrow... if the weather cooperates with me

Pics aren't the best, but I'll take some more this weekend...

I couldn't be happier with the look, though YES, it's a 4x4 for sure right now. But as soon as I sell my OEM wheels and tires, I'll get a drop

I drove it around my small town tonight and feels pretty close to stock. We'll see how it is once I hit my first pothole, haha.

Man, does that look good! How long did it take Wheels Boutique to ship out to you after paying? If they were good to deal with, I might just purchase from them.

I ordered them last Monday and got them on Wednesday.... not bad at all. There were pretty good to me though. The only 'problem' I had with them was that I called the Wed. after my purchase to see if I could get a tracking #. They said they were shipping it later that day and would call me back with the #. Well, come Thursday I still didn't hear from them. Called again, got the same response.... Friday, no answer still. Called back and they said they were shipping it that night. Well Monday I call again and it's already shipped and half way to my house, lol. So... that's the only negative thing I can say about them. But you can't beat the price so it's not that big of a deal.

Ya'll need to find someone to buy my OEM wheels and tires so I can hurry up and drop my car. Car insurance is due next month so, unless I sell the OEMs, I can't lower her until 2 months or so.... HELP, haha!

Note to self: You will not get a tracking number if you order from them. Got it

Its going to be tough trying to sell you wheels in this forum because no one really wants 16s (they're 16s right?). I suggest posting it on Craigslist.org or a Honda Forum. If they're in good condition, I don't see why it won't sell. I'm hoping that my Eibach Kit comes in soon so that I can lower my baby. What kit are you thinking about getting?

btw. I was just looking at your poll. Looks like everyone was going for the Vadors, LOL.

yeah, every was voting for vadors, but the enkeis have received 3 votes since i posted my pics of them lol.

Did you get the Eibach pro kit (full kit with struts and springs)? I think the prokit will fit my car.. so I am trying to decide between the HFP (honda) suspension and Eibach prokit. I only want a 1-1.5 inch drop. The good part about HFP is that it will be covered under warranty so.... I dunno, lol!

Thanks for the heads up on other places I can attempt to sale my old wheels.... and yes, they are 16s haha.

I still don't understand why they would put 16s on that car???

I just called up the Tire Rack Rep and I'm awaiting his call back. Hopefully he'll have good news for me. It was supposed to reach their factory yesterday and he said that it would ship out pretty quickly.

I think you should go with a drop more than 1". It looks like you have a pretty big wheel gap there. I don't think 1" would be enough.

Would you have to get it installed by a Honda dealership to stay within warranty?
